Terms of use
CityLoo is a place to share opinions about the restrooms of public venues in the cities it covers (for now, Hyderabad and Bengaluru). By posting, you agree to these rules.
What you can post
- Your own honest experience of a restroom you actually used.
- Opinions about cleanliness, supplies and upkeep.
What you can’t post
- Names, descriptions or contact details of staff or other people.
- Claims you can’t back up, such as health or legal accusations.
- Abuse, hate, threats, spam, or reviews of places you didn’t visit.
- Anything paid for, or written to promote or attack a business.
Photos can’t be uploaded.
Your name on reviews
- Every review shows a public name next to it.
- If you post without signing in, that name is a random funny alias (like “Phantom Flusher #4821”), the same for everything you post from that device. Sign in with Google to use your own name; reviews you posted from that device then show it too.
- If you sign in with Google, your reviews show your Google first name by default, with a Verified badge. We never show your surname, email or photo.
- You can change your public name to any nickname at any time from your account or when posting. The change applies to all your reviews, past and future.
- Names must not be abusive, impersonate someone else, or contain contact details. We may reset names that break this rule.
Our role
CityLoo is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not of CityLoo. We don’t edit reviews, but we filter abusive words and remove reviews that break these rules or that we are lawfully asked to remove. See Grievances and takedowns.
Limits
One review per loo type per venue every 24 hours. We may rate-limit or block devices and accounts that abuse the site.
